About Wesley Hopkins

I am a Digital Visibility Architect and the founder of Crawled. My work is rooted in the belief that visibility isn’t just a technical metric—it’s a rhetorical challenge. By combining classical communication theory with modern search science, I help brands secure their place in the future of the Generative Web.

At Crawled, I lead the strategic architecture of content designed for the next generation of search. In an era where AI models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini are becoming the primary gatekeepers of information, I specialize in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). We ensure that brands aren’t just found on Google, but are cited as authoritative sources by the AI engines that people now trust for answers.

Education & Academic Foundation

My approach to SEO is academic at its core. I hold a Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of North Alabama, where I served as an Adams Norbin Research Scholar. My research focused on how language influences perception—a skill I now apply to how AI "perceives" and ranks brand data. I also hold a BS in Professional Writing with a minor in HCI-UX (Human-Computer Interaction & User Experience), giving me a deep understanding of how users interact with digital interfaces.

Professional Background

  • Digital Visibility Architect: Leading reputation and visibility campaigns since 2023.
  • Technical & Proposal Editor: Leveraging experience from NASA-level technical requirements to create structured, "machine-readable" authority.
  • Research Scholar: Adams Norbin Research Scholar (2020-2021) focused on how language influences perception—a skill now applied to how AI "perceives" and ranks brand data.
